We specialise in the delivery of musculoskeletal medicine, and ensure the best possible outcome will be achieved in the shortest possible time. We have a specialist medical interest in providing chronic pain management, and treatment, sports podiatry, diabetes management and children’s podiatry.
We treat and manage back pain, buttock pain, hip pain, hamstring pain, quadriceps muscle pain, calf pain, and foot pain.
Jeremy Hawke is our principal podiatrist and has 19 years experience in treating chronic pain, occupational medicine problems, motor vehicle and motorcycle accident patients, and military trauma patients. Jeremy has spent the last 19 years looking after professional athletes, from state to national and international standard.
We treat football player’s basketball player’s hockey player’s professional swimmers deep sea divers, ballet dancers and triathletes, and many other athletes. We run children’s clinics, diabetes clinics, chronic pain clinics and general podiatry clinics. Jeremy has specialist musculoskeletal training in the area of dry needling or otherwise known as medical acupuncture. Many of our patients suffering from chronic pain have had little or no relief from their pain in the past, prior to choosing our surgery for their treatment.
f you require assessment for prescription foot orthotics, we can ensure careful biomechanical examination, plaster casting, and prescription foot orthotics made in our world class standard laboratory, by hand over a 12 day period. All our orthotic technicians are highly trained, and attend ongoing education to ensure the effectiveness and comfort of your orthotic devices. All our surgical instruments and acupuncture needles are surgically sterile, and all acupuncture needles are one use needles that are disposed of directly after use.
Our infection control standards are hospital and national standard, and we ensure that our policies are based on the most recent Department of Health and Ageing standards and policies. If you require assessment for chronic pain management or orthotic assessment, please indicate this at time of appointment making, so additional time can be set aside for you for further assessment on the day. For chronic pain management assessments, please wear baggy style shorts or suitable attire for assessment. We look forward to you visiting our surgery, for outcomes that encompass more functional and pain free walking, and a higher quality of life.
