Introducing Jeremy Hawke
Jeremy Hawke is our Senior Podiatric Physician, and studied Podiatric Medicine at Sydney UWS and gained his Masters Degree in International Relations, with a specialist interest in Global Health Delivery. Jeremy has held the Head Podiatrist position at the Lottie Stewart Division of Westmead Hospital for 7 years, responsible for their Orthopaedic and Rehabilitation Wards, Spinal Unit, Huntingtons Chorea Unit, Aged Care Division, Outpatient and Acute Care Unit. He has spent the last 15 years in private practice, with specialist interest in Diabetes Podiatric Medicine, Paediatric Podiatry (children), Occupational Podiatric Medicine and Workcover, and Sports Podiatry, (including professional AFL, Rugby, Tennis, Soccer, Cricket, Hockey players, Tri-Athletes, Martial Arts, Runners and Professional Dancers).
As Head Consultant Podiatrist for the Army, Navy and Airforce for the last 8 years, Jeremy continues his important role as Joint Health Command preferred Podiatric medicine provider to the Department of Defence in Cairns, for defence personnel and their families. Jeremy has been a councillor for Australian Podiatry Association, and involved in National podiatry initiatives and government and Podiatry Registration decisions in Australia. Jeremy is also an active member of joint Allied Health initiatives and supervises for Organisations including The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Jeremy is consultant to the Cairns Division of General Practice, and actively involved in podiatric initiatives for indigenous populations in the Far North Queensland. Jeremy is Head Consultant Podiatrist at Babinda Hospital and the Director of GeoClean Health Podiatry at Woree, Cairns, QLD. Jeremy is an active member of The Australian Podiatry Association, Sports Medicine Australia, Diabetes Australia, and The Australian Political Studies Association.
In his spare time he supports Australian Red Cross, World Vision, and is a team member of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees and a United Nations Volunteer. Jeremy is also actively involved in Swimming, golf, martial arts, walking and cycling.
Introducing Jinghua Hawke
Jinghua Hawke is the Practice manager, and is able to provide you with a comprehensive range of information about our services. Jing is available to arrange your appointments, and to answer any enquiries about our podiatry services. Jing is also the company accountant, and deals with a large number of private, government and International stakeholders, who share ongoing dialogue and policy discussion with our health division.
